A quality sausage in a bun recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Grillbratwurst Sausages
- 1/2 Red Onion (Sliced)
- 4 Hot Dog Rolls
- 50g Cheese (Grated)
- Dijjon Mustard
- Tomato Sauce
Note
Sausage Sizzle, well yes, but with a great German butcher just up the road (Elmars) we couldn't just use any normal snag. Instead we used their famous Grillbratwurst which is a combination of pork, veal and beef, medium ground, which is very tasty and not hot.
Directions

| Turn on toasted sandwich maker and give a quick spray with cooking oil | |
| Step 2 | |
| Slice Onion and place on toasted sandwich maker sprinkle with a pinch of salt, close and remove when cooked ~2-3 minutes | |

| Place Bratwurst sausage onto to the sandwich maker and close lid, cook for 6 minutes turning once halfway through cooking | |
| Step 4 | |
| Remove the sausages and cover to keep warm | |
| Step 5 | |
| Butterfly open the rolls and place open side down on grill, toast for a minute only (do not close the lid) | |
| Step 6 | |
| Spread mustard on each side of the roll, add onions, cheese and sausage. Add tomato sauce and eat! | |
